Donegal Horizons CLG was officially created in January 2020, having operated as New Horizons Partnership Ltd. in Donegal since 2005; offering a range of accredited training and non-accredited (enrichment) training opportunities. We are an OCN (Open College Network) accredited Centre and have a Team of highly-qualified, experienced training staff as well as Internal Verifiers and a Compliance/ Quality Standards (QS) Officer, ensuring the integrity of all that we do.
Empowerment & Skills Development
We believe in creating opportunities that empower individuals to live more independently, achieve their personal goals, and thrive as active members of their local community. Our programmes of learning/experiences focus on building practical skills, fostering confidence, and encouraging personal growth—all in a supportive environment where inclusion and fun are at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s learning new life skills, exploring pathways to employment, or engaging in community activities, we are committed to helping each person reach their full potential while enjoying meaningful connections and experiences.
We do this by delivering both Open College Network-accredited courses in-house in any area/subject that our trainees have chosen to explore; as well as enrichment courses and experiences which embrace hands-on/experiential learning. Our (New Horizons Partnership Ltd. – devised) ‘Independent Travel Training’ Programme and ‘New Hop Skills for Work’ Programmes are valuable in-house interactive resources utilised with each new trainee intake and for revision/reinforcement purposes throughout.
